The 4MedPlus Certificate of Basic Provider Order Entry Proficiency (CBPOEP) course provides comprehensive guidance for eligible clinicians, consultants, and practice managers on the topic of Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE). CPOE has become fundamental to Health IT and government incentive programs.
This course includes a hands-on practice session intended to give learners experience executing a standard EHR/CPOE medication order with CDSS warning notiifcation.

* Understand the evidence of effectiveness
* Interpret Implementation Issues and workflow impact
* Consider the benefits and limitations of CPOE
* Practice utilizing CPOE/CDSS via a real-time EHR application
