COURSE DESCRIPTION: Cryptocurrencies are digital assets used as investments and for purchases online. They are exchanged as real currency, like dollars, to purchase “coins” or “tokens” of a given cryptocurrency.
To buy cryptocurrencies via any exchange method, a person will purchase the coins themselves via an exchange account, put up the full value of the asset to open a position, and store the cryptocurrency tokens in a "wallet" until ready to sell or purchase.
