The Certificate of Telehealth Communication Skills Proficiency (CTHCSP) course provides healthcare students and working professionals with a deep dive into the complex communication skills required to facilitate remote telehealth patient care.
This exciting new 4MedPro+ Skillbuilder Series program includes an online exercise allowing the learner to engage in an interactive mock telehealth consult with an AI Chatbot patient. The hands-on documentation portion also allows the learner to schedule and enter telehealth notes into a real-world electronic health record (EHR). Each exercise is unique to the individual and provides immediate feedback following the mock consultation to encourage professional communication improvements.
At the completion of this interactive program, the learner will be able to:
- Describe unique aspects of patient care via telehealth
- Define the benefits of remote patient care
- Discuss common challenges in telehealth communication with patients
- List best practices for remote care communication
- Consider checklists to enhance patient familiarity with the telehealth model of care
